Welcome to my new studio in my new home. Welcome to my new painting adventures on Pender Island.
Interestingly, the first new art in my new studio comes from my neighbour's children -
This is one of two welcome art pieces that adorn my studio - thank you to Waylon and Noah and Max and Maraika and Soley [ with an accent] and to Ben and Everest who all welcomed me yesterday to Oxbow Ridge where my new home sits high in the trees facing the ocean.

To begin again after all this time away from painting ...so first a blank canvas - waiting for inspiration .
Light through the windows - fantastic . So are the views
Off the studio is a large walk-through to a bathroom with storage space and closet for more storage. Good to hide all the stuff we seem to accumulate.
Lucy in her art critic's chair where she can view my easel.Note the two art pieces behind her .
And what does every artist need when one gets "stuck" ... a soaker tub of course - walk through the storage area to the bathroom , complete with tub and the view below .... to rejuvenate and resolve artistic woes.
The view from the soaker tub
