Why I recommend this exhibition ?
This exhibition provides viewers with a much-needed divergence from the usual exhibition experience on the North Shore . It avoids the more common and so often repeated representational landscapes and pretty paintings of fruit and flowers and instead showers us with creative individual abstraction in an array of expert and experienced colour themes and narratives.
Of particular note for me was the work of Catherine Fields. Her colour sophistication and subtlety draws you in and holds your attention.
For those who know Maria Josenhans work, you will discover her own unique colour palette in an abstract form - captivating in a whole new way.
Don't ignore Janet Strayer's " Icarius" or Joyce Ozier and Gina Miller's work. In other words, if you don't know these artists, here is an opportunity to be introduced to their work.
A worthwhile and high quality exhibition for collectors and artists all...... can we have some more of these kinds of shows ? I would live to hear your feedback. Send me a comment on my website.
