spirit of haida gwaii - 36 x 36 acrylic
Haida Gwaii is one of the most spiritual and special places on earth . Trying to express the impact of this place on me as an artist will be a life long journey . If you have travelled to this place you know that the land is one of layers of nature , built one layer on another ; more importantly it is also a place of historical significance - with many layers of history and significant stories of the first peoples who have long lived here and protected their home from all kinds of challenges and invasions .
